Provence Connect is looking for friendly, motivated individuals to help grow our team! 

 

About Us:

We are a non-profit association under the 1901 French law that has grown into a large network that connects the expats and French diaspora in the Provence region, especially in and around Manosque. 

 

We bring people together through 3 types of events that we organize throughout the year:

1. Social events - casual meetups where people can connect naturally

2. Cultural events - discovering different cultures through curated activities or experiences

3. Professional networking events - bilingual networking sessions offering an open and welcoming space to make professional connections

 

To develop our network to its fullest potential, we’ve also recently launched collaborations with local businesses.  

 

To run the events, build upon our collaboration and communicate our efforts to the community are tasks that are exciting but require time and commitment. 

 

TASKS:

 

Whether you’re a student, a working professional or a home professional, we would love to have your help with the following tasks.

 

 

1. Social media & Community management support: looking through and sharing updates on Facebook and website

2. Email support: newsletters, replies, and communication with local partners

3. Event logistics support (backend)

4. Website updates (light support)

5. Membership administration support

6. Business partnership support: helping build and maintain relationships with local businesses

7. Blog writing & content development

8. Graphic design / content creation: visuals, flyers, and digital content

9. Translation support (English ↔ French) for articles and events

10. Grant & funding support: helping identify opportunities and assist with subsidy or funding applications

 

We're seeking 1-3 people to support our efforts. The roles are a great launchpad for those looking to gain experience and build connections in both English and French in the Provence region. The language level requirement depends on the tasks you're interested in. But we'd like people who can make an effort in both languages (don't worry though, you don't have to be a linguistic professor) 

 

This won't be in a full-time capacity. We're grateful for all the help you can offer.
